Today I’ll be talking about length check ✅✅✅ Yeah! I’m basically going to talk about how and why you should do the length check!

Length check is all about knowing the length of your hair. We already know that a healthy hair grows 6 inches a year and doing a length check once in a while will help you make sure your hair is growing well.

How to do a length check

There’s two methods you can use to do a length check-

1. 1. By using a measuring tape- This method is more convenient. You use a section of your hair (the front or the back) and place the measuring tape at the root of your hair and then you stretch your hair on the tape and write down your hair’s length (someone can help you do it, if you’re having difficulties). (It can be used for any hair length)

2. By using a “hair length check” shirt- This shirt comes with lines that have been measured so all you have to do is put on the shirt and stretch your hair out on the shirt and write down your hair’s length. (It can’t be used for very short hair)

Why you need to do a length check

The basic reason why you should do a length check is to make sure that your hair is growing and even if it’s growing you need to also make sure you’re retaining your length.

That’s why it’s important to jot down the length of your hair and compare it to the previous measurement.

Length check can be done every 3 months or 6 months or once a year.
